About the Team

The Global Workplace Experience (WE) team oversees all of EA's physical workplaces and supports the employee experiences through our office environment and services. They aim to deliver inspiring, inclusive, and efficient spaces and programs that help EA to attract and retain top talent.

About the Role

Reporting to the VP, Real Estate and Workplace Solutions (REWS), the Senior Director, Workplace Experience will define and lead EA's global Workplace Experience long-term strategy across multiple regions and teams. You will shape and deliver a world-class employee experience across offices that support our workers, while influencing enterprise-wide strategy and driving transformational programs.

You will partner with executive leadership (including C-suite) and global teams to design and implement programs that enhance engagement, productivity, and culture at scale. This is a role for you if you operate at a strategic level, influencing, guiding, and recommending solutions which bring positive impact across individual site(s)/region(s) or all of EA.

You will work with multiple regions and support a large, global employee population, requiring influence across direct and indirect teams. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in office at either our Redwood City or Vancouver offices. 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the global Workplace Experience strategy, aligning to business and talent priorities and contributing to broader REWS and Workplace strategy
  • Partner with and influence senior leadership, including C-suite, using data, insights, and benchmarks, while serving as a trusted advisor on our workplace, culture, and employee experience
  • Design and implement global workplace and employee experience programs across North America, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring consistency and equity, and continuous improvement through feedback and analytics
  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation and change programs, aligning team members and driving adoption, innovation, and employee satisfaction.
  • Lead a global team, building organizational capability and succession pipelines, through an inclusive, globally led and cultural lens
  • Oversee global operations and financial management, including budgets, multi-year planning, resource allocation, vendor strategy, and service delivery excellence
  • Champion employee experience and employer brand, ensuring alignment to employee and business needs, strong cross-functional partnerships, and a high-touch service approach across all workplace interactions

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in workplace experience, facilities, or related fields, with senior leadership responsibility in global organizations
  • Experience leading large, distributed teams (including managers of managers)
  • Experience operating at executive level, including presenting to and influencing partners
  • Experience designing and implementing global strategies and transformation programs
  • Experience managing complex, multi-region operations and budgets
  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple time zones and cultures

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$190,500 - $267,300 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$215,900 - $327,900 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.  
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
