As a Senior Game Product Manager with The Sims, you will be part of the team improving our gameplay updates. You will be the PM representative for one of our gameplay workstreams and ensure our gameplay updates delight players.

You will be reporting to the Director of Product Management.

Location: Vancouver, Kirkland, Redwood city hybrid in studio three days a week

Responsibilities:

  • Generate insights that identify new opportunities for game expansions and increase player impact of new features 

    • Collaborate with data analytics, consumer insights, user research, and other teams to find qualitative and quantitative insights that improve the player satisfaction of gameplay features and updates 

    • Recommend and manage AB tests that improve the gameplay experience

    • Work with large data sets to analyze player behavior and recommend gameplay features that enhance the player experience 

  • Drive improvements to the gameplay roadmap process; Regularly refresh the backlog, use data to assess and evaluate opportunities, and with Design and Production, prioritize our future game updates 

  • Collaborate with Marketing leaders to recommend changes to our go-to-market plans for gameplay updates

  • Lead product reviews and retrospectives that analyze previous releases and recommend changes to the roadmap based on learnings 

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of Product Management experience

  • Previous experience launching and optimizing gameplay features for a large title

  • Previous experience leading roadmap planning for a large title 

  • Analytical background; Experience turning data into actionable insights

  • MBA, business, or software engineering background

  • Passion for games, especially Life Simulation games

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$117,000 - $179,600 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) *$108,900 - $145,200 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
