The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications will report to the Sr. Director, Corporate Communications, and will help develop and execute proactive storytelling aligned to company strategy and business priorities, with a focus on media relations, strategic communications, and brand storytelling.
You will work closely with the Corporate Communications leadership to drive PR initiatives, secure high-impact media coverage, and enhance our brand perception in the interactive entertainment space. You will also partner with teams across the company, including Sports and Entertainment to support EA communications efforts across multiple corporate initiatives focused on driving brand awareness and recognition with priority audiences.
To comply with EA's hybrid work policy, this role will be hybrid, in office 3-days per week based in Redwood City, Calif.
In this role you will:
Earned Media Strategy & Execution
● Develop and execute integrated earned media strategies aligned with business priorities and campaign initiatives.
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, podcasters, and influencers across national, trade, and digital outlets.
● Pitch and secure high-impact stories, interviews, and features that position the brand as a thought leader.
● Monitor media landscape and identify proactive and reactive opportunities to drive visibility and protect corporate reputation.
Brand Storytelling & Messaging
● Partner with the Newsroom team on narrative development, helping translate complex ideas and organizational priorities into compelling, human-centered stories.
● Develop a consistent brand voice and narrative across public-facing content.
● Collaborate cross-functionally to surface and shape stories that align with strategic business objectives, showcasing EA's technology leadership in immersive and innovative gameplay and experiences.
Content Development & Messaging
● Write and edit press materials, media pitches, Q&A documents, and executive talking points.
● Maintain consistent messaging across all external communications, ensuring alignment with brand values.
● Develop media briefing books and key message documents for spokespersons.
Requirements
● 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, corporate communications, or media relations, in a high-growth tech company, gaming, or agency.
● Experience securing top-tier media coverage and managing press relationships.
● Understanding of media landscape, digital content, and how narratives move across platforms.
● Passion for emerging technologies, technology and innovation storytelling
● Creative, curious mindset with enthusiasm for experimenting with new storytelling tools to engage and inspire audiences
● Strong project management skills.
● Adept at building relationships with media, internal teams, and external partners.

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
