The Sr. Manager, Social Analytics role is a critical role within our Fan Intelligence organization, which is part of EA’s broader Experiences organization.

We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. We’re a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem.


The Channel Analytics team is responsible for delivering attributable ROI measurement, in-channel optimization opportunities, and insight-driven analyses with strategic business context. The Sr. Manager, Social Analytics will be responsible for leading a highly-proficient team in delivering insights and measurement on owned and earned social activations.   

 

As the Social Analytics Sr. Manager, you will:

  • Oversee a team of social analytics managers, strategically aligned to support EA’s Entertainment and Sports brands

  • Define and drive the strategic vision, goals, roadmap for your team, aligning priorities and deliverables with broader business objectives

  • Lead the development of robust measurement frameworks that provide attributable ROI measurement for our owned social and community engagement channels

  • Design and implement learning agendas with test frameworks, hypotheses, and KPIs to answer business-critical questions

  • Deliver and bring stakeholder visibility to impactful analyses that surface ROI opportunities and strategic recommendations

  • Partner closely with Franchise Analytics to bring channel-level depth and expertise to Marketing Mix Model results (MMM)

  • Translate MMM results into actionable insights and optimizations to maximize performance of our social and community activations

  • Cultivate strong relationships with our Integrated Communications teams, to align on evolving stakeholder needs and business priorities

  • Identify, onboard, and implement new measurement and analytics tools that  enhance ROI tracking

  • Lead the management of and serve as a business stakeholder for our Social Analytics tools

  • Champion your team’s impact with cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational influence as a core member of our leadership team


Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in social marketing analytics, with a track record of driving measurable business impact

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience managing a team of direct reports

  • Expertise in measurement and attribution methodologies across a wide range of digital channels including owned social and gaming community channels (ie Discord, Twitch)

  • Experience with with social analytics platforms (ie Sprout Social, Tubular) and tracking ROI on owned marketing channels 

  • Proficient in SQL queries and working with API connections to extract and manipulate data

  • Comfortable working across timezones with flexibility to accommodate teams that are distributed globally

  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders

  • Soft skills:

    • Familiarity and interest with EA game franchises

    • A passion for using data and quantitative methods to inform and influence decision-making

    • Excellent communicator with the ability to drive influence amongst multiple stakeholders

    • A proactive thought starter who can identify and solve for unique challenges



COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $126,000 - $176,300 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
