Description & Requirements

We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination.

At our core, Electronic Arts is a game maker that connects hundreds of millions of players from around the globe to some of the world's greatest games. The In-Game Experiences (IGX) team drives the strategy and implementation of EA's common social experiences that benefit the entire portfolio of games.  These experiences include helping EA's community of players connect to one another and to the games they love to play - across social, commerce, cross-play, and connections to external networks and first parties.

In your role as Sr PM, reporting to the Director of Product, you will manage strategy, roadmap, and detailed product definition for our central social platform to grow our gaming network. These include features that live within our franchises and centrally-owned destinations like our upcoming mobile app. Your remit is rooted in product discovery; helping us determine what features to build, areas to invest in, and then distilling problem spaces into requirements. This means you'll partner with back and front-end technical teams, design counterparts, game studios, and partners across our organization, to bring your product vision for this space to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate strategic directives into goals and key results. Monitor and drive strategy around achieving results through the definition of associated KPIs.
  • Identify problems and provide effective solutions. You have experience understanding user needs, and can align a cross-functional group of teammates to define holistic solutions in a systematic way
  • Develop an evidence-based product roadmap with a holistic view of the rapidly evolving game market and identify new opportunities
  • Drive initiatives through product discovery and delivery while collaborating closely with Design, Engineering and EA wide technical partners
  • Work with game studios to understand their business needs and drive collaboration sessions to determine solutions
  • Partner with analytics to establish an experimentation roadmap, using A/B testing to meet objectives and create product and player insight and translate outcomes into relevant recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Highly familiar with either B2C social applications and/or gaming industries and current entertainment platforms
  • You're an excellent communicator with a demonstrated ability to partner, collaborate, and engage stakeholders effectively to achieve outcome-based success, which you've helped define.
  • You are adaptive and have a passion for quality, and determine the best approach based on player feedback, data, the competitive landscape, and peer collaboration. You identify challenges and adjust as you go.
  • Able to gather insights from data and transform these into actionable product improvements
  • You have experience leading product definition, prioritization, and guiding the delivery of technically complex product initiatives.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to do competitive analysis, data analysis, and other discovery methods to identify high-impact areas to invest in
  • A passion and ability to define goals and metrics for products and be accountable for corresponding outcomes and growth in your area of focus
  • Experience leading a cross-disciplinary team, and presenting to executive leadership to build alignment and advocacy for the roadmap
