You will report into the Senior Production Director on The Sims Franchise.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a main contact for The Sims community, including content creators and the wider core community. 

  • Strategize across teams with how we best collaborate with the community for a range of activities, including early access feedback, game play, marketing, and more. 

  • Understand the different players’ motivations, needs, and desires to identify brand risk and help ensure success of important moments. 

  • Collaborate with other teams across Brand, Studio, Comms, Creator, and Social to support achievement of tactics/campaign beats for launches and go to markets. 

  • Create frequent community feedback and sentiment reports for Communications, Brand and Studio teams, escalating trending themes or broader topics.  

  • Organize and moderate Community Councils to deliver audience-relevant feedback to Studio, Brand and Communications partners across titles. 

  • Help the studio understand the community’s wants, motivations, and need to inform future gameplay. 

Qualifications:

  • You will work with the Senior Manager to develop community strategies.

  • You will oversee the production of community programming with PR and social media teams, including developer livestreams, blogs, and studio spotlight pieces.

  • You will forge relationships with territory leads to ensure execution of plans are consistent globally.

  • Grow our community voice, developing a shared culture and identity and maintaining a tight dialogue between the studio, EA, and players.

  • Use the Creator Network program to manage opportunities and grow community engagement.

  • Build close relationships within studio teams. 

  • Cultivate relationships with top influencers, and players within the community.

  • Partner with Integrated Comms team, Studio, Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure community messaging across the organization.

  • Collaborate and share with other EA Community Managers on standards and innovations.

  • Manage patch notes creation and publishing.

  • Up-to-date Community reporting on fan feedback, game issues, or relationship challenges

  • Maintain a positive reputation at work and within the community.




BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
 
EA has listed the pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous  relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

    • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
      º $60,000 - $65,000 CAN Salary

The pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.  We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).
