Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Electronic Arts is seeking a motivated and innovative Software Engineer to develop and extend our CDP Copilot — a unified AI and agentic framework powering use cases across Quality Verification, Localization, and Content Creation.

This platform will accelerate how we design, test, localize, and operate EA’s game experiences, enabling our teams to interact with intelligent copilots that automate workflows, surface insights, and scale creative and operational excellence. You will design and build the foundational systems, APIs, and integrations that bring these copilots to life.

As an engineer embedded with the team, you will help drive both the technical implementation and the user experience of AI-powered tools. Alongside building scalable architecture and workflows, you will work directly with users and stakeholders to identify pain points, gather feedback, and deliver intuitive solutions that accelerate their day to day work and create meaningful value for our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement the core platform including cloud infrastructure, orchestration, prompt routing, memory/state management, data pipelines, and multi-agent frameworks.

  • Connect agents to enterprise systems (test management, localization tools, content creation pipelines, and operational data sources).

  • Build shared APIs, SDKs, and UI components that allow each CDP function (QVS, Loc, Create, Ops) to create domain-specific copilots efficiently.

  • Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate LLMs, fine-tuned models, and retrieval-augmented pipelines into production-ready systems.

  • Partner closely with Central Development Partners’ tech, operations, and experience design teams to ensure copilots solve real user problems and integrate seamlessly with existing workflows. Collaborate with QA testers and developers to validate tool outputs and refine the generation logic.

  • Collaborate closely with Central Technology teams at EA to leverage EA standard technologies powering infrastructure and AI inference.

  • Implement best practices for model routing, performance tracing, safety guardrails, and governance.

  • Prototype and iterate quickly on new interaction models (chat, voice, or multimodal), incorporating user feedback and usability learnings into future iterations.

  • Document the tool’s architecture, usage guidelines, and handoff instructions for long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 5+ years of experience in software development.

  • Strong programming skills in one/more of Python, Java, or C# and understanding of AI.

  • Experience with databases and APIs for integrating with third-party systems.

  • Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) or text parsing methods.

  • Strong system design and architectural thinking, with a focus on reusability and modularity.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills and a product before technology mindset, and the ability to work independently with stakeholders, gather user feedback, and balance technical implementation with user experience considerations.
