Role Overview

As a Mobile Engineer on the FC Mobile team, you’ll help shape the foundation that powers the world’s most popular mobile football experience. You’ll work closely with designers, engineers, testers, and product owners to deliver reliable and scalable features. You will be part of the feature development team, contributing to features as part of live service. This role reports to the Senior Software Engineer.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain client-side gameplay features and systems.
  • Develop UI flows, menus, and in-game interactions in collaboration with UX/design teams.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following team standards.
  • Debug and resolve issues across devices and environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from peers.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and game services.
  • Contribute to build stability and automated testing where applicable.

 

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience in software engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent degrees.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming language such as C++, C#, or Java.
  • Demonstrated interest in game development through a portfolio of projects, prototypes, or experiments (including personal or hobby work).
  • Strong understanding of data structures and basic algorithms.
  • Experience on debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with client-server architecture fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
