Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star WarsSquadrons, to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space™, and now to building an original Iron Man action-adventure video game.


To help us realize this vision, Motive is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Iron Man Software Quality (SQ) team to help lead and evolve our automation strategy, working with advanced technologies and great partners. You will report to our SQ Development Director. 


Responsibilities:

  • You will use your knowledge of software engineering concepts to implement reusable and modular solutions

  • You will try to understand the technical needs of our partners to create solutions that are maintainable, scalability and help us deliver value to the business

  • You will create a system-level technical design and documentation

  • You will evaluate new technology for the team and help us look for opportunities to unlock new capabilities


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry technical experience working on tools, test automation and development process improvements

  • You have experience with .NET, C# and bonus if you have C++ experience, SQL and non-SQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB

  • Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments

  • You have proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Software Engineering or equivalent
