Role Overview:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will report to the hiring Manager and you will drive qualities with in-depth understanding of software design and implementation. You will identify quality issues and bugs as early as possible in the development cycle. You will become the voice of quality for the project. Also, we require test strategies and experience which challenge the software to provide a very high level of quality.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with both local and overseas development partners to create a high-quality game plan, ensuring the expedited flow of bugs through efficient analysis and communication.

  • Leverage opportunities to provide early design feedback, execute a variety of testing types across multiple features, and assess potential risks to both features and the overall system.

  • Provide detailed defect insights to various teams and use data analysis to offer constructive feedback on in-game features.

  • Use data analysis to formulate potential experiment theories, propose actionable recommendations, and advocate for best practices or immediate changes with development partners.

  • Adapt testing efforts to shifting project priorities, monitor testing activities, and uphold quality standards in a strategic manner.

  • Contribute to project documentation and actively participate in discussions with partners and peers to stay updated on project status and priorities.

  • Undertake and execute additional tasks as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement.

What you will need to be successful :

 
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance roles, including test planning, implementation, and execution.

  • In-depth knowledge of software/game development, including both agile and waterfall methodologies.

  • Experience tracing and analyzing logs to uncover details related to software failures or bugs.

  • Experience in identifying potential risks and effectively escalating these concerns to the appropriate stakeholders to resolution

  • Experience with defect and test case management tool (e.g JIRA, Test Rail).

  • Experience working within a continuous delivery or continuous deployment model.

  •  Fluent proficiency in English
