Sr. Lifecycle Planner, EA SPORTS

We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. We’re a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem.
The Sr. Lifecycle Planner, EA SPORTS will play a critical role in developing strategic plans across Email and In-Game channels for EA SPORTS fans around the world. This position will report into the Director of EA SPORTS CRM Strategy and work closely with the cross-functional teams to execute engagement, retention and monetization initiatives that provide value to players while driving meaningful impact to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as a member of the EA SPORTS Pod to determine optimal content placement for players at critical moments in their personal progression
- Assist in managing the content calendar, content briefs, content forecasting, and content approval and proofing processes
- Develop strategies for reaching cohorts and player segments based on business goals
- Identify innovative approaches to enhance the lifetime value of our players
- Troubleshoot in a highly visible environment
- Partner with teams to identify gaps in processes and to develop workflow enhancements
- Identify opportunities to improve tools
- Cultivate relationships with internal partners and team members
- Develop process documentation and best practices
- Follow content, social, and digital trends and best practices within and outside the gaming industry
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing data, or marketing technology fields
- Experience with digital advertising operations, including campaign programming and delivery
- Ability to drive multiple projects and streams of work concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining proper documentation and reporting
- Expertise in quality control checks, in-depth troubleshooting
- Passionate about games, or game theory. And passionate about connecting players to entertainment that they will love
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across Marketing
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with confidence to advocate for the role of lifecycle channels across the marketing organization
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
