This is a Hybrid remote/in-office position, based in our Birmingham studio.

We are looking for a Studio Operations Lead, reporting to the VP/GM of the F1 Studio in Birmingham. You will partner with the Studio leadership team to oversee all operational aspects of the business. This includes establishing functional processes and improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the PE team on all people and talent processes including talent evaluation and compensation

  • Oversee the annual/quarterly/monthly budget process and planning, tracking actuals and financial risks and opportunities

  • Support execution of the core central functions that contribute to long-term success of the studio

  • Guide strategic planning for the Studio and products

  • Help guide studio and facility related projects in partnership with the Workplace Experience team

  • Use and improve the frameworks and processes used to establish a rhythm in how business is conducted e.g. financial submissions, resource planning.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Operational & Leadership experience with team sizes of 50+ people

  • Experience creating game development budgets, and managing those throughout life cycle.

  • You will have experience partnering with HR/PE teams on people strategies

  • Experience leading teams in a hybrid work environment

  • Expertise presenting plans and recommendations to executives.

  • Experience overseeing projects of varying scope and complexity with multiple partners inside and outside the business.
