A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

The EA Digital Platform (EADP) group is the core powering the global EA ecosystem. We provide the foundation for all of EA’s incredible games and player experiences with high-level platforms like Cloud, Commerce, Data and AI, Gameplay Services, Identity and Social.

As the gaming industry shifts towards a live service-driven model, creating an engaging Ads experience and connecting relevant brands and advertisers to players is the key to EA's success. As a Technical Writer, you will document industry-leading solutions that empower e2e Ads lifecycle management workflows and performant, scalable and available services.

You will report to the Technical Writing Manager and work side-by-side with your AdTech team.

This is a temporary full-time position (12-months).

Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with team members, including engineering, product management, developer relations, and other subject matter experts to create high-quality documentation including product overviews, design documents, API documentation, integration guides, and team learning materials.

  • You will attend scheduled team meetings including product design reviews and stand-ups and own meeting minutes.

  • You will provide guidance and consulting support to Team Leaders on how to organize, structure, and maintain product documentation.

  • You will ensure documentation meets the needs of the full range of engineering, stakeholder and customer personas. You will gather feedback often to improve content.

  • You will consolidate documentation from multiple content sources into a cohesive, discoverable user experience.

  • You will ensure all documentation follows EADP style guides and templates.

  • You will provide regular updates to your manager on project status.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical writing experience for software products and web services.

  • Experience working in a collaborative, Agile development environment.

  • Experience using a content management system (CMS) or similar knowledge management systems to create documentation.

  • Experience planning, creating and organizing user-centric technical documentation.

  • Experience working with and documenting REST APIs.

  • Experience designing information architecture, content models, or learning experiences.

  • Experience working with remote teams.

  • Familiarity with dynamic in-game advertising concepts and technologies is a bonus.
