Location: On-site at an EA Bucharest office 3 days a week

Join our Game Developer Experience (GDX) team as a Junior Software Engineer and help us build tools and services used in the development of some of the world's most popular games, including FC, Apex, Madden, Battlefield, NHL, Skate, and more. You will collaborate with other engineers and support game development teams across the company while learning industry best practices.

Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager you will:

  • Develop software applications and components using Microsoft .NET as part of the Game Developer Experience (GDX) team.

  • Help build cloud first enterprise-scale solutions to support the game development process.

  • Participate in coding, unit testing, and debugging activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Support internal users by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

  • Contribute to the ongoing stability and performance of production applications.

  • Learn and apply coding best practices, including participating in code reviews and team meetings.

  • Help with basic support and maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Up to 2 years of experience in software development (internships or school projects welcome).

  • Familiarity with .NET technologies such as C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC.

  • Basic knowledge of web development: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Understanding of REST APIs and web application concepts.

  • Experience using source control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Familiarity with modern SDLC tools (such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Perforce, or Jenkins) is appreciated.
