We're looking for an experienced engineer or someone interested in expanding their knowledge in the Presentation area. Our Presentation engineers develop and extend features in the game that create the audio, visual, and story aspects that immerse the user in the game of football. Above all, we're looking for an engineer who is excited to use their talent and experience to build AAA quality games. You will report to the engineering manager for the team.
This position will be hybrid/onsite in Orlando, FL.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and extend offline and online features.
- Technical ownership of small/medium scale features.
- Write technical documents for user facing features.
- Support content tools and pipelines for technical designers, animators, and artists.
- Plan & Implement a feature's core logic and flows.
- Monitor and address performance and stability impacts of features.
- Work with designers to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Work with a team of other engineers in a collaborative environment while being overseen by a tech lead.
Your Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in C++ software development.
- Experience with developing C#/.NET applications.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Exposure to game engines (e.g. Frostbite, Unreal, Unity or other)
- Able to review, test, debug, and extend existing code.
- Experience with software engineering principles and architectural design.
- Knowledge of data driven and expression systems.
- Skilled in debugging complex, large scale applications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
