We are looking for a Game Designer like you to join us in our mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to improve ourselves and our craft. You will report to our Design Line Manager. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options within the Vancouver, Canada to apply.
What You'll Do:
- Design high quality components and tools in a proprietary engine
- Collaborate with other disciplines to design and implement game features
- Work with your design lead and teammates to agree on priorities
- Support your teammates by writing design documentation
- Participate constructively and respectfully in the critique of your work, and the work of others
- Look for opportunities to learn new skills to benefit your growth, your team, and the studio
What We are Looking For:
- At least 2 years in a senior design role in multiplayer games
- Experience in visual scripting, text-based scripting, or other programming languages
- Experience with User Generated Content (UGC), creating or using game modding or workflow tools
- Understand the importance of documentation and teaching others

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $89,300 - $123,000 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
