Multimedia Strategist, Fan Care

Location: Los Angeles

#WeAreEA and we exist to inspire the world to play.

EA values creativity, pioneering, passion, determination, learning, and teamwork. We mean things like acting with curiosity, speaking up with original ideas, and committing to each other as one team.

Come join us! We’re hiring a Multimedia Strategist to join EA’s Fan Care Team.

EA’s Fan Care organization exists to help our fans get the most fun from their games. From onboarding new players to getting them back in the game when they have issues, we support fans across their EA experiences and keep them safe online. We value people who bring new ideas and perspectives to make Fan Care a great place to be and be from. We celebrate diversity and inclusion. It’s just as important for us to create great experiences for our people as for our players. We’re looking for people who will show up excited to work and ready for fun.

As a Multimedia Strategist, you’ll join the Fan Care team and report to the Manager, Multimedia. You’ll be responsible for creating various multimedia assets to complement and enhance our help experiences for our online audience. You’re passionate about creating all forms of digital media and communicating information in a creative and efficient way. You’ll work with teams across Fan Care and the rest of EA to bring our brand to life through clever digital content on our help channels.

Responsibilities

  • Asset Creation: Create engaging, timely, and easily accessible multimedia content including videos, GIFs and infographics for our help channels, in support of our content strategies for our online audience.

  • Quality Control: Work as a brand guardian by maintaining our brand guidelines both internally and on EA Help, and ensure it’s consistently applied.

  • Content Strategy: Work with our wider Fan Care team to support new player-facing initiatives, using digital tools and techniques to validate research on where the opportunities are and how best to target them.

  • Content Optimization: Ensure that all assets are tested, optimized for deployment, and consistent with our other help channels.

  • Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish - intake, prioritization, collaboration, script + storyboard, deadlines, etc., to ensure the timely release of content.

  • User Engagement: Collaborate with the EA Help team to gather feedback from players, analyze player behavior, and continuously improve multimedia content to address player needs effectively.

  • Collaboration: Seek opportunities to collaborate both inside and outside of the team, working with key influencers to effect change in projects and throughout the organization.

  • Game Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of EA games, specifically the Battlefield franchise, staying up-to-date with game updates and new launches.

Requirements:

  • A deep passion for gaming, particularly with a strong understanding of EA games, specifically Battlefield.

  • You have 3+ years experience in Digital Content, Media, Marketing, or a relevant field.

  • You have experience using video and media editing software, such as the Adobe Suite, Canva, and Final Cut Pro.

  • You have experience crafting multimedia that conveys stories, drives action, and appeals to different learning styles and audiences.

  • You have experience developing methods and processes for improving content accessibility and the user experience.

  • You have a portfolio of your previous work that you’re proud of.

Nice-to-haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as graphic design, digital filmmaking, or marketing.

  • Knowledgeable about emerging media trends and consumption habits.

  • Knowledge of top social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and their success metrics.
