Team Lead, Workday Solutions
The Team Lead, Workday Solutions is a managerial role that leads the Workday Solutions team and drives system optimization and strategic enhancements across global People Experience (PE) processes.
Reporting to the Manager, People Operations & Workday Solutions, this hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office and combines people leadership with deep functional expertise in Workday.
Responsibilities
You will lead the Workday Solutions team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management. You will set goals, promote accountability, and support career growth and capability development within the team.
You will oversee service delivery, resolving advanced Workday cases, complex PE transactions and global requests.
You will be the primary escalation point for critical Workday issues, regulatory matters, and data integrity risks, partnering with COEs, IT, and regional partners to resolve issues and implement sustainable solutions.
You will collaborate with the People Experience Information Technology team to scope, test and deploy system enhancements, automation projects and new functionality.
You will establish and maintain governance and compliance practices, overseeing system audits, reporting, and data quality reviews. You will identify trends and systemic risks, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions.
You will be a strategic partner to People Services, People Operations, COEs, IT, and regional PE teams, providing expert guidance on system capabilities, policy interpretation, and scalable process design.
You will lead change management efforts for Workday releases, upgrades, and process changes, ensuring adoption across impacted teams.
You will advocate for continuous improvement, evaluating new Workday features and releases to determine impact, and lead automation and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, Shared Services, or People Systems, with expertise in Workday.
2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
Demonstrated expertise in advanced Workday configuration, troubleshooting, and global process management.
Experience leading Workday-related projects such as system upgrades, integrations, enhancements, or global deployments.
Understanding of governance, compliance, and data quality best practices within enterprise systems.
