The Global Workplace Experience (WE) Team oversees the employee experience both within the physical environment of our offices and the experience and engagement of our global workers working remotely. 

WE delivers and maintains spaces that are vibrant, fresh, branded, and inspiring while also creating and providing amenities and programs that differentiate EA as an employer of choice and support EA’s ability to attract and retain the talent needed to power our company. 

About the Role:

Reporting to the WE Sr. Director, the WE Director at EA Redwood Shores, affectionately known as EARS, will create a comprehensive and integrated Employee eXperience (EX) strategy that aligns with the team's purpose and goals. The Director supporting EA’s Corporate Headquarters will collaborate with Senior Leadership including C-Suite members, multiple BU’s, such as Benefits, People Operations, Employee Communications, and more, to ensure that every employee has a positive and engaging experience. The WE Director, EARS will also use employee feedback, data, and best practices to identify and address the gaps and opportunities in our EX to continuously improve upon our EX programs.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction globally for onsite, hybrid and remote workers
  • Collaborate with different teams and departments to provide positive employee experiences with an enterprise-wide mindset.
  • You'll create action plans for change where needed through surveys, focus groups and/or interviews with employees.
  • Manage employee relations and retain top performers by establishing clear communication channels, identifying potential conflicts and resolving issues, and providing regular feedback about performance.
  • Design employee programs and initiatives that foster a culture of collaboration, and creativity.
  • Communicate with employees and partners to promote the Workplace Experience Teams vision and values.
  • Develop a talented workplace experience team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, growth, and collaboration.
  • Build a robust service mentality within the team, ensuring a responsive and white glove approach to internal customer service.
  • You'll collaborate with Finance and leadership to develop and manage budgets that provide value through enhanced workplace experiences.
  • You are the liaison with departments, aligning workspace experience programs with stakeholder requirements.
  • You'll communicate and engage with employees, partners, and other leaders to convey the employee experience vision and values.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree with 7 years of related experience in workplace and facilities management experience or 10 or more years of workplace and facilities experience within a global organization with locations in the regions of EMEA and APAC
  • Experience in planning and leading multiple complex projects simultaneously 
  • You've created decks and presented to executive leadership
  • Support teams and projects across multiple time zones, regions and cultures
  • Experience leading and directing multiple teams in a variety of locations
  • Ability to influence the current state and the future of the organization, and evaluate the risks and opportunities of each option.
