Job Title: UX Lead
Location: Orlando / Vancouver / Victoria
Reports To: Sr. Director of Experience Design
You will support American Football within EA Sports. EA SPORTS is one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world, with top-selling videogame franchises, award-winning interactive technology, fan programs, and cross-platform digital experiences. EA SPORTS creates connected experiences that ignite the emotion of sports through industry-leading sports video games.
What you will do:
You will lead and mentor a team of UX designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.
You will develop and implement UX strategies that enhance user satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and design solutions.
You will collaborate on user research, usability testing, and gathering insights to inform design decisions.
You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.
You will advocate for best practices in user-centered design and accessibility.
You will stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant practices into the design process.
You will present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.
Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive responsibility in UX design and implementation
3+ years of experience managing successful teams
Experience shipping multiple products from concept to completion
Experience designing and managing large-scale projects
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Skilled at both independent work and effective collaboration within a team environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution
BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
You will report to the Director of Experience Design
