Job Title: UX Lead

Location: Orlando / Vancouver / Victoria

Reports To: Sr. Director of Experience Design


You will support  American Football within EA Sports. EA SPORTS is one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world, with top-selling videogame franchises, award-winning interactive technology, fan programs, and cross-platform digital experiences. EA SPORTS creates connected experiences that ignite the emotion of sports through industry-leading sports video games.

What you will do:

  • You will lead and mentor a team of UX designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and professional growth.

  • You will develop and implement UX strategies that enhance user satisfaction and achieve business objectives.

  • You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and design solutions.

  • You will collaborate on user research, usability testing, and gathering insights to inform design decisions.

  • You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.

  • You will advocate for best practices in user-centered design and accessibility.

  • You will stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant practices into the design process.

  • You will present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive responsibility in UX design and implementation

  • 3+ years of experience managing successful teams

  • Experience shipping multiple products from concept to completion

  • Experience designing and managing large-scale projects

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Skilled at both independent work and effective collaboration within a team environment

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • A portfolio of work that showcases relevant work that contains well thought out process and excellent craft execution

  • BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area

  • You will report to the Director of Experience Design
