Senior ITO Specialist

We are the Site IT team supporting AAA game development in a highly collaborative environment at our Melbourne studio. Join us in powering the future of play alongside the teams behind The Sims FreePlay and Frostbite.
We are looking for a Senior ITO Service Specialist to join our Site IT Team. As a Senior ITO Service Specialist, you will support our studio staff in Melbourne and remote staff across Australia, with a primary focus on End Point Management. You will require some infrastructure experience (smart hands) to maintain the efficiency of our on-premise data centre in Melbourne. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Melbourne, involving both remote and onsite work, reporting directly to the IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You will provide daily technical support to studios on desktop, laptop, Mac, game consoles, mobile devices, meeting room techs (Neat/Zoom)
- You will deploy and support operating systems and client software, including Windows, macOS, Office365, SVN, Perforce, Autodesk, Adobe Photoshop, Visual Studio, game development software, Intune & SCCM
- Participate in supporting works of some IT infrastructure: networking, server, virtualization & storage
- Work in local IT projects, and deliver global/regional IT project in the sites
- Ensure all critical information about the local IT environment is documented and kept up to date
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT support role in a software development environment or similar
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 (Intune/SCCM), MacOS (Jamf), Office365, Zoom, Slack, Google Suite and other development software
- Some experience but not essential in VMware, Linux, basic networking & Windows Server
- Collaborate with the manager and other team members in a remote setting
- Manage complex issues, understanding when to escalate matters to management or specialized teams
- Proven ability to offer solution-oriented approaches to complex IT issues, balancing customer satisfaction with company policies and technical constraints
- Experience in encouraging a customer-focused culture while upholding IT best practices and organizational standards
