Motive is looking for a Gameplay Designer to join the Iron Man team to design and implement enemy AI that deliver an exciting and authentic Iron Man combat gameplay experience. You’ll be joining a multi-disciplinary Enemy AI team and work closely with other AI and boss designers.
Responsibilities :
- Take direction from design leadership and drive the design of your enemy characters and related game systems to create and support engaging combat experiences
- Oversee, coordinate, and review AI work on your features
- Work with other designers to ensure the enemies contribute to the combat experience and support the overall game loop
- Communicate the design to the team through multiple channels, including written design documents
- Prototype, implement, and maintain features and content using Unreal Engine 5
- Collaborate across disciplines, including art, animation, programming, and level design, to develop your features and ensure a top-tier player experience
- Review the game against the design goals and identify issues and opportunities to improve the player experience
- Receive and incorporate feedback from multiple sources to improve your features
Qualifications :
- 3+ years of design experience developing video games
- Design credits on at least one title where you were responsible for major parts of the design of enemy AI, combat systems, or bosses
- Experience working hands-on with a game engine to implement your designs
