The Challenge Ahead:
Reporting to the local Development Director, we are looking for a Project Manager who will play an important role in our leadership team. You understand that development and operations are one entity, and that DevOps is all about making the business successful by delivering value to the customer faster and in a reliable way. You will manage project and resource planning, balance scope with capacity, track progress, implement / improve processes, and mitigate risks. You are a master of operations capabilities and aim to ensure that the Player experience is excellent. You know how to nurture a healthy team and can inspire and motivate team members to make a difference. You know how to build collaborative, high functioning relationships with development teams and central services partners. This team works in a hybrid model from our Bucharest studio, with three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
Manage project delivery across a team of DevOps engineers within a global team
Work with tech leads and engineers on planning and implementing DevOps projects
Guide planning (i.e. resource, initiative, sprint/program increment, release planning) and support continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives
Create project schedules and align with the development and central teams from one project phase to the next while ensuring quality, collaboration, and communication
Meet deadlines and communicate status and risks to the project team and project partners.
Mitigate risks for areas of ownership, be the point of escalation for conflict management, risk identification and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
You will have knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management acquired from 3+ years experience in project management ideally on DevOps-centric teams or similar software development projects.
Experience solving complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of several factors
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint or equivalent software.
