We develop shared tools and technologies that connect and empower creators throughout EA. On Frostbite, you'll collaborate with accomplished teams and contribute to the foundation that enables the creation of immersive, high-quality games for players worldwide.
As a Software Engineer on the Frostbite Release team, you will report to the Technical Director and work with us to deliver high-quality engine releases. You will collaborate with multiple partners in a distributed environment, helping us improve our release processes and support game teams across EA.
Responsibilities:
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet all requirements for high quality releases
You will work with others to ensure all engineering standards are met in our development and release environment
You will provide support to development, partner and QV teams to troubleshoot production issues encountered during development cycles
You will implement improvements to our tooling and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of our products
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for release processes
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated hands-on expertise in releasing software within a large-scale operational environment, focusing beyond the scope of DevOps practices
Minimum three years of professional proficiency in both C++ and C# programming languages
Three years of professional experience in managing changes across multiple development and release branches
Experience using Perforce, and with solid knowledge with version control concepts and good practices
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and hands-on experience
Nice To Have
Experience with game/engine development on multiple platforms
Experience with large code integration
Experience with AI driven programming
