Organization

GPSR strives to unite and empower us at EA to create a safe and secure environment. You will report to the Associate Manager for the Global Security Operations Center. Our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) plays a vital role in monitoring and responding to security events that may impact EA's operations and assets.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Security Specialist of Analytics to join our Global Security Operations Center. This role will focus on leveraging data to drive process improvements, creating metrics that reflect operational performance, visualizing data to enhance decision-making, and presenting the information to relevant stakeholders as a representation of GPSR metrics. As the key data analytics lead within the GSOC, you will work cross-functionally to build and refine operational metrics, improve efficiency through process optimization, and develop presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership. A strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within security operations.

  • Coordinate with the GSOC Manager to support the design and implementation of key metrics to measure the effectiveness of GSOC operations.

  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights to stakeholders at various levels.

  • Coordinate with all relevant GPSR teams to develop requisite metrics to analyze trends and identify opportunities for optimized resource allocation.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives, in close coordination with the GSOC Manager, to apply operational improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce response times.

  • Work closely with the GSOC Manager to document current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement streamlined workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven security strategies and solutions.

  • Build and deliver presentations that clearly communicate actionable analytic insights, process improvement opportunities, and metrics to leadership.

  • Monitor the implementation of improvements, ensuring sustainable outcomes and continuous refinement with measurable goals.

  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data analytics, process improvement, and security operations.

  • Provide regular reporting on the progress and impact of analytics initiatives within the GSOC.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, business, or a related field.

  • Strong process optimization experience with excellent information management capabilities.

  • 3-5+ years of experience in statistics, data science, mathematics, business, or a related field.

  • Understanding of global security trends, including physical, cyber, and geopolitical risks, and how they impact corporate operations.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security threats and develop clear and actionable intelligence.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports for senior leadership.

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on threat monitoring and analysis.

What EA Offers

  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment.

  • Opportunities for career growth and professional development.
