Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Tech Art leads and team to design and implement art creation tools and workflows or on shaders and on-screen effects.
  • Collaborate with content creators to understand requirements and challenges.
  • Document work in a clear and concise form.
  • Research and keep up with the latest trends and technical tools for developing content and inspire others through knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate for a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Some experience working with a game engine (like Unity or Unreal)
  • Knowledge of art packages, such as Maya and Photoshop. (Houdini or Substance Designer/Painter is a bonus).
  • Some scripting/programming experience (in a language like Python).
  • An understanding of the processes and challenges in the creation of art content for games.

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2025, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2025. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 4-month internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
