We are looking for a Technical Director to help build and lead the Franchise Features team that will own social and competitive features for the Battlefield franchise. You will work directly with the Battlefield 6 Technical Director. We are looking for you to build the technical strategy that helps us deliver a compelling social and competitive experience for Battlefield players for years to come.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead and manage the Franchise Features technical team
  • Define and deliver the technical requirements for social and competitive features
  • Work hands on with the team and ensure code architecture and guidelines are in place
  • Build long term technical strategy for these areas across current and future Battlefield titles
  • Collaborate and drive alignment with technical partners across Battlefield Studios and EA

 

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in large scale, Live Service environments
  • Online and UI/UX experience
  • Advanced C/C++ skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Passionate about mentoring and developing engineers at all levels
  • Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
