The Role
As Technical Product Manager for Game Server Hosting, you'll define and lead the roadmap for automated hosting platforms supporting development, testing, and production. You'll ensure optimized workflows for provisioning, observability, and fleet management across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native deployments. You'll collaborate with game studios, engineering teams, and vendors to deliver an outstanding multiplayer hosting platform, reporting to the Head of Program & Product Management.
Responsibilities
Shape product vision and roadmap for game server hosting, including manageability, scheduling, deployment, and observability.
Collaborate with engineering, studios, and DevOps to capture requirements and guide product plans.
Develop user personas, user stories, and prioritization frameworks.
Work with product managers across infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and cloud platforms for cohesive strategies.
Lead product discovery, define MVPs, and lead experiments to improve developer and operator experience.
Define and track metrics for satisfaction, adoption, reliability, and effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years in product management, ideally in infrastructure platforms, developer tools, or multiplayer game hosting.
Strong familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), Kubernetes, and containers.
Experience working with engineers, SREs, or game developers.
Proven track record delivering complex technical products.
Experience with CI/CD, automated deployment, and configuration-as-code.
Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
Experience in online gaming, cloud hosting, or distributed systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
