Battlefield is a storied franchise renowned for uncompromising combat gameplay and all-out warfare, for over two decades. 100 million players and 5 billion hours played later, Battlefield Studios is defining the future of the first-person shooter with the biggest launch in franchise history with Battlefield 6, and a new era beginning with Battlefield REDSEC.

We are looking for a Technical UI Designer like you to join us in our mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to enhance ourselves and our craft. You will report to our Studio Line Director, Design. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options for candidates.

What You’ll Do:

  • You will design and implement UI systems for Battlefield, using visual scripting in the Frostbite engine.

  • You will implement HUD components, UI widgets, and UI animations to design specifications.

  • You will partner with engineers and artists to refine the UI, to ensure implementation is the best technically, visually, and for usability.

  • You will proactively communicate and collaborate with others across crafts about UI work.

  • You will document UI pipelines and mentor others, promoting knowledge sharing within our team.

  • Participate in peer reviews by both providing and receiving constructive feedback.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing UI for shipped games or interactive products.

  • 3+ years of experience as a front-end or UI scripter.

  • Expertise in visual scripting and modern UI frameworks, working with game editors like Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity.

  • Experience integrating player feedback and analytics into UI improvements.

  • Experience documenting technical processes and implementation flows.

  • Collaborative, creative problem-solver.
