Game Production Solutions (GPS) builds the technology that supports creativity at every stage of development. Partnering closely with game teams across EA, we develop solutions that bring ideas to life in-game, faster - empowering game makers to build the experiences that matter most and deliver unforgettable games.
Your Work With Us
As a Development Director II, you'll help lead the execution of projects that leverage generative AI to support game asset creation and cloud infrastructure that helps development teams scale. Reporting to the Senior Development Director, you'll oversee teams building the technologies that empower EA game creators worldwide. You'll also help develop processes that improve delivery predictability and quality.
Responsibilities:
You will create and manage project roadmaps for cloud-based tools, including adoption, integration, migration, and support.
You will collaborate with leaders to align feature development and project goals.
You may manage direct reports within your area of responsibility.
You will foster a people-first approach, building happy, motivated teams.
Qualifications:
You have 7 or more years shipping games as a Development Director or in a Senior Production role.
You are comfortable presenting to senior level team members and partners.
You are familiar with Agile/Scrum, and you have experience in project planning, capacity planning, dependency and risk management including mitigation techniques.
You have experience with project management tools such as Jira/JaaS.
You have demonstrable experience using project management metrics to set development process success goals.
You have excellent spoken and written English.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
