Employee Experience Project Specialist

As the Employee Experience Project Specialist, you will report to the Senior Director, Employee Experience and work on projects across our team, collaborating with partners and program leads. You’d manage project planning assets, work with program leads on change execution and content, and support our communications and branding work for our area. You'll be part of creating impactful experiences that align with our talent strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Support: Provide project support for Employee Experience projects by tracking project status, maintaining timelines, documenting actions, organizing project meetings, and working with program leads and team members to guide work forward.
  • Brand and Change Execution: Partner with the team on proposals, planning and creative content. Deliver communication tactics by managing posts and community engagement across multiple channels and programs. Support planning and approval processes.
  • Metrics, Insights and Reporting: Work with program owners to compile metrics and maintain results, decks and status reports, ensuring regular updates. Conduct competitive research to provide insights and benchmarking data to inform planning, decisions and program enhancements. Collect feedback as an input into metrics and for continuous improvement.
  • Program Content Management: Audit and support updates on our employee and candidate-facing resources, including onboarding materials, recruiting playbooks, and careers and employee program websites, for brand consistency and effectiveness. Implement work, partnering with leads, designers, and brand specialists.
  • Project Contributor: Take ownership of smaller projects within Employee Experience programs or explore new opportunities, with direction from program managers. Collaborate with the team to develop proposals and plans for new programs.

Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience in 1-2 of these areas: Project Management, Employee Experience, Employer Brand or Communications or similar.
  • Project management skills, proficiency with Air Table (or equivalent) and experience supporting multiple projects.
  • Research skills and ability to consolidate and interpret data for decision-making.
  • Exposure to employee experience intranet-tools; basic copy-editing skills.
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD
  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $82,500 - $122,900 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
