Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

We are EA

And we make games – how cool is that? In fact, we entertain millions of people across the globe with the most amazing and immersive interactive software in the industry. But making games is hard work.

That’s why we employ the most creative, passionate people in the industry.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager specialized in CI/CD products to join our Game Development Experience team, based in Madrid. This exciting role offers the opportunity to drive innovation to improve the speed and quality of core game development workflows, empowering EA’s developers to make great games and products.

You will have the chance to work with game teams across the entire organization, including FC, Madden, Battlefield, the Sims, Apex Legends, and central teams such as Frostbite.

Your past experience establishing north star metrics for new or existing products, tools and workflows will be leveraged to reclaim our game teams’ time currently spent on high effort activities, and turbo-charge game developer productivity.

The ideal candidate has a technical background in game development (creating and releasing games), with very strong customer empathy, experience mapping user journeys to wireframes and rapid prototypes, and more than one prior example of creating a product from scratch.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leaders, game directors, and developers across game teams. You will be expected to drive discovery, create prototypes, learn domain areas quickly, and drive high-impact prioritization, and turn ambiguity into clarity.

You must be comfortable reviewing architecture proposals, challenging trade-offs, and working as a peer to senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Roadmap - Aligned to game studios’ strategies, own the product vision and roadmap for several internally-used products related to game development workflows, specifically in CI/CD, file distribution, and source control.

  • Customer Success - Inquire and understand game team pain points and translate them into prioritized, outcome-driven requirements informed by research and competitive analysis.

  • Aligning Priorities - Balance developer productivity with scalability, security, and usability, ensuring roadmap decisions are grounded in measurable business and developer impact.

  • Domain Expertise - Partner deeply with engineering leaders to understand system architecture, price/performance trade-offs, and scalable platform services

  • Milestone & Release planning - Translate complex technical initiatives into clear execution plans.

  • Stakeholder Alignment - Ensure our game teams are successful by collaborating closely with developers, content creators, designers, and studio stakeholders to maintain alignment and champion the best solutions for their needs, regardless of their source.

  • Measure Success - Define and track success metrics tied to adoption, performance, reliability, developer satisfaction; ensure instrumentation and telemetry are always first-class citizens.

  • Prototype literacy - Can share examples of prototypes you assisted with or created yourself, using AI or personal prototyping skills.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.

  • Strong technical foundation, including familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity, ADO, UE Horde), APIs, microservices, cloud and on-prem technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and Version Control (Perforce).

  • Prior experience using AI tools to support day-to-day work.

  • Data-informed approach to decision-making, including defining success metrics and using insights to guide priorities.

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bonus

    • Experience as a Technical Producer or Tools Producer on a game team.

    • Experience driving results in highly matrixed organizations.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week working from our office in Madrid.
