This exciting role offers the opportunity to architect and enhance enterprise-scale software applications used to create games and to collaborate with game teams across the entire company on popular titles including FC, Apex, Madden, Battlefield, NHL, Skate and more. Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Work within a software development team to build a modern game archive and retrieval solution to preserve EA's games and make them accessible for future use
  • Design, estimate, plan and implement software and infrastructure solution to automate the preservation process
  • Collaborate with game teams and other central service teams to ensure games are preserved and archives can be used to reproduce working builds
  • Document the configuration, usage instructions and limitations of the game archives.
  • Debug and resolve performance issues in complex software and hardware systems
  • Follow and enforce coding standards by participating in regular code reviews
  • Maintain the stability of the application in production
  • Support internal users

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience developing large-scale applications in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Java, or similar technologies
  • 1+ years experience working with version control like Perforce and Git including advanced concepts like branching strategies and developer workflows
  • 1+ years of experience with enterprise SDLC/ALM tools, such as JIRA, Perforce, Artifactory, and Jenkins
  • 1+ years of experience with automated build pipelines, continuous integration and deployment solutions
  • Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (e.g. VMware, Azure, or AWS); Preferred AWS or Azure certifications
  • Experience with build automation solutions such as Jenkins or Git Runners
  • Experience with scripting languages like Groovy, JavaScript, Python, etc.
  • Experience in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
