Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Electronic Arts is building a modern, unified AdTech platform to power scalable, player-first monetization across our global portfolio of live services. At the core of this platform is the LCM Ads SDK—a Frostbite-native, engine-level system that enables high-quality display, video, and rewarded in-game advertising with trusted measurement and minimal impact on gameplay.

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery, adoption, and evolution of the LCM Ads SDK across EA studios. This hands-on leadership role sits at the intersection of engine development, rendering, performance, platform engineering, and monetization, and is critical to delivering EA's AdTech roadmap.

You will report to the Engineering Director and lead a distributed team of senior C++ engineers across Vancouver, Orlando, Montreal, and other EA hubs.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the technical vision and delivery of the LCM Ads SDK across Frostbite and future engines (e.g., Unreal), spanning HD platforms with a path to mobile.

  • You will ship 3D intrinsic placements, 2D display, video, and rewarded video to unlock programmatic and premium sponsorship revenue.

  • You will ensure the SDK meets performance, stability, and scalability standards across live EA titles.

  • You will develop engineers in engine systems, rendering, performance, and SDK integration.

  • You will support external integrations (e.g., SSPs, measurement partners) through clear SDK contracts.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with expertise in C++

  • 5+ years of experience leading engine, platform, or SDK teams

  • Expertise in real-time systems, rendering pipelines, or game engines

  • Experience delivering cross-team, multi-studio platform initiatives

  • Experience managing complex integrations with strict performance and reliability requirements

Bonus:

  • Experience working with Frostbite, Unreal, Unity, or proprietary game engines

  • Familiarity with rendering systems, GPU pipelines, or real-time graphics

  • Exposure to ads, monetization systems, or telemetry/measurement platforms

  • Experience scaling platforms across multiple live services

  • Prior experience leading globally distributed engineering teams

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
