Workday Architect, People Experience Technology
Reports to: EAIT Senior Workday Manager

We are looking for a professional with Workday techno-functional expertise. You'll serve as a valuable resource across different Workday areas, encompassing Core HR, Performance & Talent, Time Tracking and Absence and other modules; Compensation would be ideal but not essential. Building relationships and collaborating with our partners, you will understand challenges, capture requirements, and provide Workday solutions. Stay connected and proactive in Workday's roadmap as we evaluate and adopt new functionality to enhance our deployment. The Workday Architect will report to the Senior Workday Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional consulting services to HR, being the subject matter expert for Workday.
- Provide configuration expertise across Workday's HCM modules, as such as Performance Management & Talent modules
- Lead development and deployment of new features and system improvements.
- Analyze functional specifications and change requests, delivering Workday solutions.
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end solutions and support.
- Improve efficiency in delivering Workday solutions.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, and system performance.
- Provide both leadership and support for Workday issue resolution.
- Develop simple to complex Workday custom reports and integrations (EIB)
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing solutions to ensure they remain aligned with architectural principles and goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years experience with HR systems, including 3+ years with Workday HCM and technical architecture.
- Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale Workday solutions.
- Hands-on experience in Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services, and REST APIs.
- Experience configuring and deploying Workday Performance and Talent modules.
- Experience managing partners and delivering complex solutions.
- Customer-focused approach to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, HR, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Workday security architecture, data objects, and domains.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
- $122,400 - $176,300 USD
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
