You will report to the Head of Engineering, and be part of our globally distributed Player & Quality Insights team , with options to work onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid setup in Canada.
You will lead multi-disciplined engineering efforts collaborating on technical projects for Player & Quality Insights.
You will directly lead a distributed team of engineers and managers. By inspiring and guiding technical teams, you will promote value & efficiency owning tactical initiatives to drive operational improvements. You will lead change management, advocate for continuous improvement, and create scalable frameworks to ensure strategic understanding across the organization.
- Agile Framework Development: Create scalable Agile processes to ensure rapid response and stability. Standardize best practices to support organizational growth, working with teams to adapt and enhance.
- Risk Management: Drive situational awareness of day to day engineering risks and mitigation activity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Oversight: Engage with stakeholders to monitor progress and align initiatives with EA's strategic goals. Oversee value streams, coordinate project phases, and collaborate with TPMs to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Change Leadership: Spearhead initiatives to meet strategic objectives. Craft and implement change management strategies, facilitate the adoption of new processes, and ensure alignment of business and technology strategies with core objectives.
- Resource Management and Long-term Planning: Lead long-term planning and resource allocation, collaborating with peers to manage headcount, risk, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Continuous Improvement Advocacy: Serve as a consultant and coach to identify opportunities for efficiency gains. Implement workflows to advance operations, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Communication and Information Architecture - Establish structures for communication and information access, refining strategies to improve transparency.
- You bring 8+ years of experience in Agile leadership and product delivery specifically with the application of Agile, product and project management principles, practices and theory
- You have experience in coaching, mentoring, and empowering teams
- You understand both operational and technological principles.
- Experience driving strategic plans and aligning teams towards common goals.
- Demonstrated experience in operational transformation and change management within a technology-driven organization.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $157,100 - $216,800 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
