Electronic Arts Hyderabad brings together experienced individuals from diverse backgrounds with a shared passion for inspiring the world to play.

You will be part of the EA Mobile AdTech team which is the division within Electronic Arts that is responsible for ensuring EA’s advertising systems operate in full compliance with global privacy regulations and legal requirements while preserving a high-quality player experience. The team partners closely with Legal, Privacy, Product, and Engineering to translate regulatory and policy standards into validation practices. They define, implement, and oversee comprehensive test strategies that verify compliant data usage, consent handling, and ad delivery behaviors at scale, proactively identifying risks and ensuring all solutions meet legal obligations without negatively impacting gameplay.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure ad systems meet global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data governance standards by defining and executing compliance-focused test cases.
  • Partner with legal and privacy teams to translate policies into actionable test requirements and verify implementations match approved guidelines across regions.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive test strategy covering ad delivery, targeting, consent flows, and data handling.
  • Oversee manual and automated testing to validate that ads behave correctly under different consent states, geographies, and user scenarios.
  • Proactively identify compliance, legal, and player experience risks in new features or changes, and drive mitigation before release.
  • Ensure ad frequency, placement, and behavior do not negatively impact gameplay, including validating edge cases and failure scenarios.
  • Work closely with engineers, product managers, data teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on requirements and quality standards.
  • Support post-release validation, audits, and ongoing monitoring to ensure continued compliance as systems evolve.
  • Maintain clear documentation of test strategies, compliance coverage, and quality metrics; communicate risks and status to stakeholders. 

 

Our Requirements

•            3+ years of applicable work experience within Quality Assurance.

•            2+ years of applicable work experience within the Mobile field with compliance and data structuring knowledge.

•            Knowledge of test tools, testing methodology and processes.

•            Good understanding of data in analyzing the quality of a product.

•            Oriented to solve problems and focus on the solutions.

•            Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
