Our insights are ubiquitous through autonomous analytics.

We're looking for a Data Governance Co-op to join our world-class paid internship experience in May 2025 (4-months). This program offers students the ability to explore career opportunities and gain insight into the Gaming industry. Students work on real teams with impactful projects alongside industry veterans, to gain hands-on experience with valuable tools and program management processes while developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of a data discovery program within the data governance organization.
  • Support data curation efforts by interviewing stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data sources.
  • Collaborate across the four pillars of the data governance team: operations, quality, discovery, and strategy/culture.
  • Help consolidate and document data assets, providing key input on data quality and metadata management.
  • Conduct data analysis and write SQL queries to help profile and understand the data as part of the discovery process.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance practices.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and experience writing simple queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview stakeholders and document findings clearly.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about data governance, data management, and enterprise data practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.


BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
 
EA has listed the pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous  relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

    • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
      º $60,000 - $65,000 CAN Salary
     
The pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).

Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
