We strive to be the best-in-class AI team in the gaming industry by maximizing the fun for EA players through easier deployment of AI-driven solutions for game makers. Our insights are ubiquitous through autonomous analytics.

We’re looking for a Data Governance Co-op to join our world-class, paid internship experience in May 2025 (4 months). This program offers students the ability to explore career opportunities and gain insight into the gaming industry. You’ll work with real teams on impactful projects alongside industry veterans, building hands-on experience with data governance tools, research methodologies, and program management processes—all while developing leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a Data Governance Maturity Assessment

    • Research industry frameworks (e.g., DMBoK) to define key maturity benchmarks for data governance at EA.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft assessment questions and scoring criteria.

    • Consolidate findings into a roadmap that helps EA teams progress from basic to more advanced levels of data governance.

  • Support the Development of a Foundational Data Governance Training Course

    • Identify core topics such as data quality, stewardship, cataloging, and master data management that every EA employee should understand.

    • Design learning objectives and interactive course materials (e.g., quizzes, scenario-based exercises).

    • Partner with Learning & Development to pilot, refine, and measure the course’s effectiveness across EA.

Qualifications:

  • You must return to school for one full semester following your Co-op term with EA.

  • You must be eligible to work in Canada without immigration support.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Computer Science, Business Administration (with a data focus), or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, including interviewing stakeholders, gathering requirements, and documenting findings clearly.

  • Enthusiasm for learning about data governance, data management, and enterprise data practices.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

  • Basic familiarity with data analysis (such as simple SQL queries) is a plus, though not the primary focus of this role.
