Our Motive is to develop innovative action games set in iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero. Let's say that again—iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero.

Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star Wars™: Squadrons to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space™. Currently, we're working on two exciting projects, an original Iron Man™ action-adventure game and what's coming next for Battlefield™.

We believe in sharing our passion with our community and each other, fostering an inclusive culture, and nurturing a growth mindset. Although our approach may seem simple, it leads us to create the best work of our careers, bringing unique and immersive experiences to our players.

As a Senior Development Director, you will report to the Senior Director of Production and support the operational foundation for SAT, driving clarity, structure, and scalable excellence across a highly cross-functional environment. You'll sit at the intersection of creative production, business operations, and franchise leadership, ensuring that SAT operates with transparency and impact.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define and implement SAT’s operating model, workflows, and governance, ensuring predictable, efficient, and high quality delivery across global locations.
  • You will lead all operational aspects of SAT’s development including planning frameworks, reporting systems, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • You will oversee capacity planning and prioritization, identifying resource gaps and adjusting plans dynamically to meet franchise and live service goals.
  • You will partner with Chapter Leadership and Franchise Operations to ensure alignment, compliance, and financial accountability across the organization.
  • You will translate strategic direction into clear, measurable delivery plans and KPIs that align with Battlefield’s franchise objectives.
  • You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and budget management in partnership with Finance and the RMO, operating SAT as a transparent, data-driven business unit.
  • You will establish and maintain reporting processes that drive visibility, predictability, and continuous improvement.
  • You will collaborate with franchise leadership to synchronize SAT’s objectives with broader production and business strategies.
  • You will represent SAT at franchise and chapter leadership levels, aligning operational priorities and dependencies across teams.
  • You will communicate priorities, progress, and risks effectively across leadership and partner groups, ensuring clarity and accountability.
  • You will partner with Legal, Central Ops, and other EA functions to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
  • You will lead and develop a successful, motivated team of project managers and operations professionals.
  • You will model EA’s inclusive and empowering leadership standards, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and respect.
  • You will foster an environment of trust, autonomy, and growth, encouraging creativity and operational excellence.
  • You will drive talent planning and career development, ensuring SAT’s team structure and skills evolve in step with the franchise’s needs.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in production operations, program management, or business operations within game development or large scale creative industries.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing operational systems in multi-studio, cross-functional environments.
  • Strong experience in financial forecasting, capacity planning, and KPI development for complex production pipelines.
