Contract:  Internship (6 months + 6 months).

Location: Madrid, Spain

Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office

You will be eager to learn from new and challenging opportunities. You will learn to work autonomously, collecting requirements and details from all domains and disciplines to implement technical solutions. You will work closely with your engineering lead and report to an Engineering Manager or Technical Director of the team you will be contributing to.

Responsibilities:

  • Debug, fix and improve existing code.
  • Help to provide well-tested and high-quality new features that meet requirements.
  • Understand how technical implementation impacts performance and memory budgets.
  • Collaborate with other teams and domains on solutions

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of C++ would be desirable. Experience with a similar high-level programming language (e.g., C#, Java) and/or scripting (Lua, Python, UE Blueprints) is also acceptable.
  • Some experience or related studies writing technical documentation, and some understanding of best practices, and architectural considerations
  • Some experience or related studies navigating and understanding a client/server codebase and multi-threaded architectures
  • Knowledge of high-level game architecture (i.e., the main areas and technologies that have a place in video games). Experience with modern game engines (Unrealy, Unity, Frostbite, etc.) and game development.
