We are looking for an Environment Artist II to join a new multi-genre third person open world game team. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive world building and object modeling experience and can support development across both disciplines as needed.

Responsibilities:

● You will work closely with studio leadership to create 3D levels and assets based on visual, technical and gameplay requirements

● You will ensure all asset types have established budgets and are optimized for the engine

● Active participant in team discussions, critiques and reviews

● Perform as an important contributor of the world production process to create believable and engaging environments .

● You will actively share progression and knowledge within area of expertise and influence related disciplines

● Active participant in team discussions, critiques and reviews

● You will have the ability to keep your team updated on your work when operating remotely.

● You will own your work, able to balance artistic direction and technical constraints

Qualifications:

● Minimum 7+ years of experience combined as an Environment Artist and Object Modeler in game development

● Strong understanding of scene composition, layout, materials, color, and lighting

● Ability to balance art quality and performance optimizations

● A passion for video games
