The Information Technology group (EAIT) works as a global team to empower EA's employees and business operations to be creative, collaborative, and productive. As the HPS Team Lead, you will report to the Global IT Manager. You will act as the on-the-ground operational leader for the local Hardware Procurement & Services (HPS) team, ensuring seamless access to critical mobile testing hardware while bridging the gap between daily local execution and global IT management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations for the local HPS team, ensuring tasks like asset tagging, tracking, firmware configuration, and intake are executed flawlessly.
• Lead the onboarding, training, and continuous mentoring of HPS Specialists.
• Maintain strict integrity of the physical inventory and digital asset management systems, leading comprehensive periodic physical audits.
• Act as the primary local point of escalation for internal stakeholders (development and testing teams) and specialized hardware vendors.
• Oversee the complex international shipment pipeline, ensuring accurate customs documentation, and manage specialized hardware procurement tracking.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and propose structural process improvements to the global IT Manager to elevate the quality of service.
The next great EA HPS Team Lead needs:
• 3+ years of proven experience in administrative, IT support, asset management, or complex logistics role. (Studies in Computer Science or equivalent represent an advantage).
• Proven track record of acting as an informal leader, shift lead, or mentor to peers.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills (highly proficient in complex formulas, cross-sheet data pulling, and automated reporting).
• Experience managing escalations, resolving disputes with vendors or internal customers, and overseeing complex tracking databases.
• Tech-savvy with a strong working knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and general IT troubleshooting.
• Advanced/Proficient English level (excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for global stakeholder management).
• A highly organized, customer-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail.
