This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).


Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) Engineering at EA focuses on ensuring game quality by assessing game readiness and player experience with advanced software solutions. The Quality Technology Platform (QTP) group is creating an internal platform to improve tool delivery for QVS engineering teams. Within this group, the Component Delivery Team develops QTP's build and release pipelines and interfaces used by engineering teams to enhance developer productivity and streamline workflows.

The Component Delivery Team is looking for a Platform Architect and Product Owner to define the technical vision for customer-facing portions of QTP. Reporting to the QTP Product Owner, you will lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring delivery of high-quality features..


Responsibilities:

  • You will design reusable pipeline components that the Quality Technology Platform will use to create flexible and performant build and release pipelines

  • You will design user interfaces and CLIs that client teams will use to onboard and configure their applications on QTP

  • You will produce and present high-level architecture designs to our leadership and development teams.

  • You will translate our needs into clear user stories to define and prioritize the product backlog for us.

  • You will work with our platform engineers to adapt designs during implementation.

  • You will monitor product progress and adjust priorities based on feedback and changing requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, specifically Gitlab CI

  • Expertise in UI and CLI development, including user journey mapping and UX principles

  • 8+ years experience developing software in a corporate environment

  • 5+ years experience designing and supporting scalable user interfaces, with a focus on internal customers

  • 5+ years experience creating CI/CD pipelines for a variety of different types of applications, including APIs and Web apps

  • 3+ years experience working as a Solution or Software Architect - responsible for requirements analysis and designing large-scale enterprise solutions

  • 2+ years of experience in product management or a related role

  • Expertise with Angular, React or similar web frameworks

  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences

  • Deep familiarity with Agile, DevOps, SRE and CI/CD practices.
