As a Lead UI Software Engineer at EA you are responsible for the technical design and implementation of user interfaces. You create project roadmaps and plan sprints, ensuring work is prioritized to use your team's skills. Using your UI development experience, you guide your team in building data-driven interfaces aligned with project goals. You collaborate across departments for iterative UI development and contribute to hands-on work and report to and will report to a Technical Director on the team.

  • Your Responsibilities:

    • You will implement and improve Client Front-End screens and workflows

    • Work with the Interface Designer to lay out and create screens and components.

    • Work with Server and Client BE engineers to establish, hook up and test end-to-end functionality.

    • Refine underlying screen navigation workflow.

    • You will work with other domain owners to integrate and develop technologies into the game

    • Technical oversight of your team members' contributions.

    • Design, implement and document technology and strategies to help develop UI

    • Your Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience in software development with a UI and C++ or C# focus. 

    • Proficiency in integrating and maintaining large-scale systems covering multiple domains.

    • Advanced debugging skills applicable to client/server multiplayer games.

    • Experience developing in and debugging multi-threaded/concurrent architectures.

    • Experience with Visual Studio and knowledge of the debugging tools.
