Summary
The Advertising & Sponsorships Insights Intern will have the opportunity to be a part of a team that is focused on building new products, programs and shaping business strategy within a large company. This intern will dive into some of Electronic Arts’ largest game franchises, player audiences, and the video game industry at large. They will learn about the inner workings of digital advertising and brand partnerships, gaining hands-on experience crafting stories with data and exploring what advertising & sponsorship clients need to effectively buy, implement, and measure their campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Insights Managers in refreshing our team’s knowledge base in internal- and external-facing insights resources.
- Assist Insights Managers with requests for data about game reach/engagement and audience demographics/psychographics.
- Collaborate with Insights Managers and Research Manager on monthly research reports.
- Gather data from multiple sources and distill into compelling narratives for strategic sales/partnership initiatives.
- Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Support the Insights and Research project work.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a university studying business, arts management, media studies, communications, or a related field and graduate after December 2026.
- Comfortable working with numbers and basic statistics; proficiency in Excel is a plus (e.g., calculating averages in large data sets, using pivot tables, creating trackers).
- Familiarity with Google Slides or PowerPoint for creating presentations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a curious mindset.
- Comfortable building relationships with internal business partners.
- Exceptional candidates will have experience with syndicated data panels.
- Exceptional candidates will also have a passion for games, especially EA Sports titles, APEX, Battlefield, and/or The Sims.
You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026.
At this time, we are considering bachelors students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
