Location: Austin, 12 Month TFT Role
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Security Software Engineering

Job Summary:

Join us at Electronic Arts, where we inspire the world to play and create extraordinary game experiences for millions. As a Security Software Engineer, you will help us protect fair play across iconic franchises like Battlefield by building and improving our gameplay integrity platform. You will work closely with our SPEAR Automation team and security partners, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Security Software Engineering. Together, we will foster positive play and deliver impactful solutions for our global community.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop new features and improve usability for our gameplay integrity platform, used daily by analysts to detect suspicious activity.
  • You will build responsive front-end features with modern frameworks, enabling us to review gameplay data quickly and accurately.
  • You will design and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs that integrate with multiple EA systems.
  • You will collaborate with analysts and security teams to translate workflows into effective product features, increasing platform reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of front-end development experience with Angular or React, building intuitive interfaces.
  • Experience in back-end development using .NET, Node.js, or Rust to create scalable APIs and services.
  • Experience designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MSSQL.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex web applications for improved performance and reliability.
